Satellite of Love takes Polumbo's work to new heights, introducing exquisite crystal and blown glass in a range of translucent colors into his signature provocative works. The gallery was literally glowing and a very full turn out on a rainy day created a buzz and great warmth.
Fellow artists, collectors, family members, colleagues, friends, and even a couple of reporters, all rubbed shoulders. Polumbo also introduced the latest member of his family, Barky the puppy, to the crowd. Satellite of Love is up until 19 December 2009.
